Royal Society Fellowship
On the 20 July 2009 I started the beginning og my six month Royal Society Fellowship.
The first week involved a trip to Wellington as an introductory meeting to meet the other teachers on fellowship and to get an understanding of what we will be aiming to do. Very exciting!
Commuting for the day to Wellington is certainly a new experience for me!
Day 2. Off to the Albatross Colony at Taiaroa head- a staff meeting of the educators who work there. I was so impressed with the disappearing gun set up- so incredible.
Was also fantastic to see an Albatross returning from sea to feed its chick.
